CONFIDENT BEGINNER: UPCYCLING STUDIO / JAN 7 6-8PM

Come upcycle with us! This is an open studio evening where we assist people who want to upcycle something they own. Need some scraps to stitch a patch onto your jeans? We have them! Want to embellish your denim jacket to make it one-of-a-kind? Come create something unique to spruce it up! This is a great opportunity to mend or rework something that you own in order to extend its life and we are here to guide you! If you're unsure about your item being a good fit or you're lacking a vision on how to change your garment, send us an email and we will gladly help see what is possible!

Tools and materials that will be available:
-irons, scissors, thread, rulers
-scrap and remnant fabric for mending/embellishing a garment
-hand sewing needles
-buttons and snaps for replacing lost or broken ones
-sewing machines (available to those with some machine experience)
-serger (available to those with some machine experience)
-and more!

This workshop will be held every 1st and 3rd Wednesday, you must sign up for each session you wish to attend. To cancel or reschedule, please contact 2 days before class. Staff and materials are prepared for scheduled classes based on their capacity. Unfortunately, cancelled or rescheduled workshops are not eligible for a refund. You are awarded full class credit toward a future class if cancelled 2 days or before. If cancelling or rescheduling within the 2 day period, no class credit can be given.
