After creating our favorite linen dress we had to see how it looked as a top! We love the easy pull-on style (no zippers or buttons to fuss with) and the gentle gather makes this top fun and flowy. The dolman sleeve allows for plenty of easy movement and we capped them with a wide cuff to make it feel a bit more luxurious. The slightly curved front waist seam creates a subtle high-low effect and allows the linen to drape on every body in a super flattering way.
TIGEROWL owner and designer Summer Dalton had been digging into some family history after starting the clothing line and discovered that her great grand-aunt had a dressmaking academy in the 1930’s. At one point her school, McCabe Dressmaking Academy, had locations in Australia, New Zealand and London. She patented a folding ruler that simplified laborious calculations, making designing garments accessible for home and professional sewers alike.
Though we try to keep a small stock, often times garments are sewn to order. Please expect a ship date of up to 4 weeks from your order date.
100% 5 oz linen.
Deadstock linen sourced in Los Angeles, California.
Designed, cut and sewn by TIGEROWL owner Summer Dalton in Ventura, California.
Each garment is washed after it is sewn and is preshrunk.
Due to the nature of handmade clothing, slight variations may occur.
Linen will loosen as you wear it. We recommend spot cleaning your garments when you can, then when needed, machine wash cool and hang dry. Your garments are preshrunk, so if you throw them in the dryer on low-medium heat, that's fine. They will shrink back up slightly but then loosen again once you put them on.
Garments can feel a little stiff after line-drying but once you put them on, your body heat will soften them right up. If you prefer, you can through the line-dried items in the dryer with a damp towel for 5-10 min to soften.
