Weaving on a handloom is joyful, grounding, and contemplative—an ideal antidote to the hustle of our modern lives. If you’re seeking a way to reconnect with your inner self and slow down, this gentle and inspiring workshop led by Kate Kilmurray is the perfect place to begin. Combining the traditional craft of handweaving with mindfulness and self-nourishment, the session invites you into a creative rhythm that supports presence and well-being.
You’ll be guided step-by-step in making a simple, beautiful, and useful handweaving. By the end of the workshop, you will have:
-
Learned how to make a handweaving on a 7 x 7 inch handloom
-
Experienced moments of quiet focus and peace
-
Joined a lineage of makers who have gathered in circle to weave with intention and heart
All materials and looms are included, you also get to keep your loom and enough loops to make another weaving at home.
