KIDS! NATURE DYED BANNER CAMP / JULY 21-25 9a-12p

Explore the magic of natural dyes and create your very own custom-sewn banner or mini flag garland in this hands-on camp! Led by Summer from TIGEROWL & Kat from KMOK Art, kids will discover the earthy alchemy of natural dyeing using techniques like Shibori, bundle dyeing with flowers and leaves, and color mixing. Students will also practice sewing as they design and create their own banners, adding personal touches with stamps, beads, and other embellishments. By the end of the week, each child will have a beautiful, nature-inspired piece of textile art to hang and admire!
Open to ages 7-14. Each session will include a snack break, please pack a snack and water bottle for you child. The camp will be held at 1842 E Main St, Ventura. All materials and tools will be included.
Skills Learned:
- Natural dye techniques (Shibori, turmeric, red madder, etc.)
- Color mixing and bundle dyeing
- Fabric cutting and layout planning
- Banner construction and hanging systems
To cancel or reschedule, please contact us 7 days before the camps starts and we can offer you a refund or credit. Staff and materials are prepared for scheduled classes based on their capacity. If cancelling or rescheduling within the 7 day period, no refund or credit can be given, however if we are able to fill your spot we can give you credit for the amount of the camp.
