BEGINNER'S PATCHWORK / TUESDAY 4/22

$75.00
DATE: Tuesday April 22 6-9pm

By signing up for this workshop, you acknowledge and agree to all terms in the TIGEROWL Participation Waiver and Release Form

In this workshop we dive into learning how to patch pieces of fabric together, either in a checkerboard/equally sized pieces or more organically with different sized pieces of fabric. Your patchwork piece will have raw edges on the back side and can be a great way to create the surface for a patchwork pillow, zipper pouch, or just a fun little wall hanging. We'll focus on learning how to break the design down into sections that can then get patched together and is a great precursor to Intermediate Patchwork, in which we learn how to finish the seams cleanly on both sides.

This workshop requires that you have either attended one of our Intro to Sewing classes or Crash Course workshops, or that you to know how to operate a sewing machine and can sew without frequent hangups. Workshops are held at our studio at 1842 E Main St, Ventura. All materials and tools will be included, including a sewing machine. Attendees must be 12+, minors must be accompanied by an adult.

To cancel or reschedule, please contact 2 days before class. Staff and materials are prepared for scheduled classes based on their capacity. Unfortunately, cancelled or rescheduled workshops are not eligible for a refund. You are awarded full class credit toward a future class if cancelled 2 days or before. If cancelling or rescheduling within the 2 day period, no class credit can be given.
