Let's sew a pair of pants! We'll be using the Lane Pants pattern by Syd Graham. The Lane Pants are high-waisted, with a comfortably wide leg and buildable elements to help you customize your dream pair of pants. There's an option to add a drawstring along with the elastic waist, or keep it simple. You can customize the length so that it fits perfectly. We will learn how to measure and make small adjustments to get the right fit. This pattern fits waist sizes 24-54" and hip sizes 34-65". This is a great pattern to sew as an introduction to sewing garments. Please make sure you have experience operating a sewing machine to attend this class. Attending our Intro to Sewing Class is sufficient experience for this class!

FABRIC We will be offering a fabric sourcing day on Saturday Feb 7 at 10am. Please meet at TIGEROWL and we will walk to Superbuzzy to purchase your fabric. Plan on budgeting anywhere from $25-50 in fabric, depending on what option you choose. Alternatively, if you would like to thrift your fabric, please look for a sheet, duvet cover, curtain, or tablecloth that is at least 60x80". PLEASE PREWASH YOUR FABRIC BEFORE THE FIRST CLASS.
SCHEDULE Each session will be from 6-8:30pm at our studio at 1842 E Main St, Ventura. Sewing machines are provided. It is highly advisable that you make sure you can attend all sessions, make up classes are not currently offered. Attendees must be 12+, minors must be accompanied by an adult.
POLICY To cancel or reschedule, please contact 4 days before class. Staff and materials are prepared for scheduled classes based on their capacity. Unfortunately, cancelled or rescheduled workshops are not eligible for a refund. You are awarded full class credit toward a future class if cancelled 4 days or before. If cancelling or rescheduling within the 4 day period, no class credit can be given.
