ZIPPERED POUCH / SATURDAY MAY 25
Learn to make a zippered pouch in this 3 hour workshop with Carley Brandau. We will cover how to insert a zipper, sew in a liner, top stitch, and use zipper tabs for clean corners. The studio will have a variety of fabrics to choose from, so your pouch will be one of a kind. You may bring your own fabric if you would like. Fabric recommendations include mid-weight quilters cotton to lightweight upholstery fabric. You will walk away with the confidence to sew your own zippered pouches in any dimensions you’d like.

This is a great workshop for anyone who has taken our Intro to Sewing class or knows how to operate a sewing machine!
Please note that our studio is on the second floor with only stairs as an access. Our apologies that we cannot currently accommodate all abilities, but we hope to be able to at some point.
Our studio is located at 40 Fix Way in Ventura, CA, please arrive on time to the workshop and ring the doorbell if the door is not open. We are upstairs so it may take us just a minute to get to the door. We'll be sending an info email out before the class so make sure to look for that!
To cancel or reschedule, please contact 4 days before class. Staff and materials are prepared for scheduled classes based on their capacity. Unfortunately, cancelled or rescheduled workshops are not eligible for a refund. You are awarded full class credit toward a future class if cancelled 4 days or before. If cancelling or rescheduling within the 4 day period, no class credit can be given.
